If you drink as many beverages as the next person, then chances are that you are producing a lot of waste that you could be getting a return on.  Aluminum cans and plastic bottles are probably the biggest contributor to waste right now.  Why not cash in on what you would normally just toss and forget? 

Some states have a deposit when you get the beverage, that you pay up front, then when you recycle you get it back.  It's another incentive to recycle, helping the company and the environment. For many, it just turns into profit for them, and trash for us.  So if you are paying it, more the reason to get that hard earned cash back!

Plastic is a big issue in landfills and in the ocean, it takes a long time to degrade.  There are tons of people working to clean up the ocean, but as you can imagine, not all for free.  They can recycle, or even use the plastic that they salvage.  I just saw a special about how someone is building a village from buildings that use plastic bottles as insulation. 

Anyway, recycle, but get paid for it when you can, because you did the extra work to separate it.  You can even offer to take it from your workplace, just put bins up and encourage people to use them instead of the trash.  People have made a living picking up cans off the side of the road.

If you really want to make money, do scrap metal or even rare metals from electronics. There are many guides online on how and what to gather.  Sometimes it may even be worth buying or selling broken cellphones online.

One of the ways to make money there is with UHRS.  Be sure to take all of the assessments available to you to get the UHRS assessments.  You also have to have your contact and payment info fully completed.  It may take some time to get access to these assignments.  They are not always available in all countries as well.

UserCrowd - Get paid to give design feedback on websites.

Okay, I found this website, UserCrowd, that you can do quick little tests and then give your feedback on what you saw.  They are quick and you can get notified when a new one comes in. 

These tests range from deciding between two images and giving a short reason why, to here is a website, where would you click to do a certain task. 

Each test is only a few minutes, so it's not a lot of cash, but it's a nice side thing to do in between doing other things.  You don't have to take a test, if you don't want to.  It notifies you, and you can go take it or ignore it.  You can set hours that you are available, so it won't bug you when you don't want to be.

TrafficG Web site Promotion

I've seen a lot of good things about this site, so I decided to try it out.  It allows you to promote your site, like your blog or referral links.  You can buy credits to get views or you can earn them by surfing. They allow you to set a category and location preference for your site, as well.  It's been giving me steady, quality, traffic.

They also have a link that you can set as your homepage/start page for your browsers.  What this does is every time that you open your browser, it goes to this ad page and earns you credits.  You stay for around 6 seconds to get credited, then go to whatever site you were opening the browser for in the first place.  It isn't long, so it's not that distracting and a way to earn credits without having to set aside time to surf.

They also have banner sharing, which is especially helpful for those referral links you have from your other sites that you signed up for.
